This page explains how to remove Mobitech Technologies Limited's access to your WhatsApp Business Account and Meta (Facebook) data, and how to ask us to delete the data we hold about you. It is the data deletion instructions page for the Mobitech WhatsApp Platform app on Meta. Our Privacy Policy has more detail on what we collect and why.
1. Disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account from Mobitech
- Sign in to the Mobitech WhatsApp portal as an account owner or admin.
- Open WhatsApp numbers.
- Click Disconnect next to the WhatsApp Business Account and confirm.
This immediately deletes the access token we hold for that account and the templates and phone number records we stored for it. Your WhatsApp Business Account, phone numbers and templates stay in your own Meta Business portfolio.
2. Remove Mobitech's access in Meta
- Go to Meta Business Settings and choose your business portfolio.
- Open Integrations → Connected apps (or Business Integrations).
- Select Mobitech WhatsApp Platform and click Remove.
If you used "Continue with Facebook" with a personal Facebook profile, you can also remove the app from your Facebook profile under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations. Once access is removed, Meta stops sending us your WhatsApp messages and we can no longer act on your account.
3. Ask us to delete your data
Email info@mobitechtechnologies.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include:
- your company name and the email address on your Mobitech account;
- the WhatsApp phone number(s) or WhatsApp Business Account ID concerned; and
- whether you want your whole account deleted, or only WhatsApp data.
We will confirm your identity, then delete your account data, contact lists, conversations, messages, templates and stored tokens within 30 days, and email you a confirmation with a reference number. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as billing and tax records (at least 5 years), and we keep those secure.
4. If a business messaged you through Mobitech
If you received a WhatsApp or SMS message from a business that uses Mobitech, that business controls your data. You can:
- reply STOP to the WhatsApp message to stop further template messages from that business;
- ask the business directly to delete your details; or
- email us at info@mobitechtechnologies.com with your phone number and the business name. We will pass your request to the business and help them delete your data.
